Vitamin Cocktail for Fresh Winter Skin

Winter wonderland is lovely, but it is a hazard for the skin. The cold weather and low humidity are
causing various issues from acne breakouts to itchy dry patches. Throughout winter months the skin can become tightened, dry, red and cracked and that is why, during this time, it is more important than ever to feed your skin with necessary nutrients. Some of the best nutrients you can provide to your skin both from the inside and from the outside are vitamins. They can keep your skin fresh, young, glowing and protected from harsh winter elements. Now let us mix up that beauty cocktail.

 Here are the ingredients.

Vitamin A

A is for anti-aging. It is an essential vitamin in charge for communicating with skin cells. Essentially, it reaches out to older cells and “tells” them to behave like younger cells. It is credited for smoothing out the skin roughness, reducing wrinkles and fading brown spots. Vitamin A is basically another name for retinol, a powerful antioxidant that can interrupt the damaging effect of free radicals, improve skin discoloration, boost collagen production and even neutralize acne and eczema. Because of that property it is often found in anti-aging products. If you want to include it into your diet, eat a lot of leafy greens, sweet potato, carrots, etc.
