The NYX Colour Correcting Concealer Pallete | Tea And Beauty

I have finally gotten my first NYX product and with all the dark circles and spots I suddenly seem to be getting, I reached for the NYX Colour Correcting Concealer Pallete. I have been wanting to pick up a pallete like this as my current concealer only really combats dark circles, this however will combat everything. But is it any good?

I had to read up on what each colour did first and I watched a couple of YouTube video's along the way, and actually this is super easy to use. You can either use your finger or a concealer brush to apply this, I tend to go with a brush though as it is a little easier.

Yellow - For dark circles on tan skin
Green - This is for correcting redness
Purple - corrects yellow undertones
Salmon - For dark circles on fair skin
Light Brown - normal concealer/contouring shade
Dark Brown - normal concealer/contouring shade

I have found actually that the green shade is also rather good at hiding any acne scars I have, this comes in handy if you tend to get them pesky once a month type spots.

The salmon concealer is OK but not great to be honest, I have fair skin and it didn't totally cover my dark circles, however the light brown did so I tend to use that one more. The salmon colour might be good if your dark circles are not very bad, but if like me you look like a panda every morning go with the brown.

The green concealer is great for redness as well as spots and acne scars. I tend to get a bit of redness on my chin, around my nose and between my brows. This has covered that very well and you wouldn't notice it at all now.

The purple and the yellow concealer's I haven't really used to be honest but this is due to the yellow being for tanned skin and the purple for yellow undertones. I am more pinky than yellow so I actually don't really have need for them. If the purple is anything like the green then I would imagine it works very well. I have been using the dark brown concealer as a good contour actually, just below my cheek bones. It is great at blending and doesn't look harsh. If you are going to use this pallete, I will say get a beauty blender sponge or any sponge will do. I just found the sponge to work better at blending these together, also use these after your primer but before your foundation, once these are blended in you do look like you should be an extra in Casper The Friendly Ghost.

You can buy the NYX Colour Correcting Concealer Pallette from Boots for £10.00 it is definitely worth picking up in my opinion.

Have you tried this pallete and what are your thoughts?
